2. Why did you decide to franchise?
As a preschool teacher for several years, i noticed that it takes an average of 2 years for a preschool child to learn how to read. When i found out about IR, i was initially skeptical about their tagline "Read in 20 days". But then, as I learned about how this program is done and applied the program to our clients, i would confidently say that a child can indeed develop reading skills and be able to read in 20 days.

Seeig the wonder and amazement in the eyes of the children who have overcome their reading milestone is worth all the effort to teach them.

IR Abu Dhabi: Richard Paolo Deluria Instant Reader Abu Dhabi was made possible through the introduction of one of my colleagues when I was a Managing Director in Abu Dhabi. It was supposed to be a casual meeting but I was able to see the potential of the business and so I pursued acquiring the franchise. My wife and I saw the need for reading with our son Jose Inigo, which was actually the first reason why we wanted to avail of the Instant Reader Program.
When we realized the potential of the business, we began negotiating with Teacher Vicki and Sir Jun Arioder, the founders of this amazing program. They truly live by the vision of Instant Reader which is “Teaching the World to Read in the Fastest and Most Effective Way”. True enough more and more Filipino Parents have started inquiring and registering to the program.
In the first four months of running the program in Abu Dhabi Branch, we were able to have 65 graduates and counting. These numbers speak a historical achievement in the Emirates and of the GCC! Our grand opening was last June 14, 2019, so we have been running for almost 5 months. We initially only targeted 50 students until the end of December 2019, but we have already surpassed the numbers because of the greatness the program has to offer, the dedicated teachers, staff, and support of the Main branch in Los Banos, Philippines.
Parents and future franchisees, bringing Instant Reader to UAE is one of the best decisions I have ever made. The business that started small is now reaching and helping a lot of children in the Emirates. I know that you will never regret investing in something that will be beneficial to our children. This is not just business; it is a passionate "work of heart" that will be able to support and fully equip the children of this generation. In the midst of technology, reading will never fade. This will be the only foundation for a life long journey of learning.

Almost 4 years ago, My wife and I are looking for a business to start with. It was the time that I was about to come home as an OFW, as I already decided not to renew my teaching contract abroad and thru the net and a friend, we learn about IR, And so I told my wife to contact the main branch and as they say, the rest is history.

But actually it’s the IR’s mission and vision that instigate us to franchise, add to that the charismatic and energetic aura of madam Lorna and of course the very inspiring life tandem of Sir Jun and T. Vicky, certainly how will you not want to be part of this great family. IR is a great venue to reach out to more children and families to show them not just the fastest and most effective way to learn how to read, but to show the character of Christ, to inspire and provide hope.

To the teachers, it's more of the joy of being part of building a child’s learning habit and eventually shaping their destiny.
